Skill: IBM Websphere, DB2, Java, J2EE, Weblogic
Qualifications:
3 years of hand on experience with IBM Websphere Portal and DB2
Experience with large intranet consolidation and migration
Expertise in IT development life cycles, web migration process, and requirements gathering
Experience with search engine Verity and Velocity
Technical background in the J2EE, UNIX, Windows, Web development, and object-oriented methodologies
Experience in IT infrastructure migration and capacity planning
Good communication skills including written and verbal communication
Ability to handle multiple projects and communicate requirements
Responsibility:
Perform assessments for current intranet sites, platform, usage and technologies
Gather requirements thru interview of business users and investigation of current system environments
Analyze the impacts (both business and technology) from migration of legacy sites to Wegsphere portal
Propose solution to migrate Verity to Velocity for search
Developing proof of concept, prototypes, and overall system architecture
Create infrastructure capacity plan and hosting requirements
Act as subject matter expert in IBM WebSphere Portal and DB2 technologies
Document methodology, recommendation and practices for Websphere Portal migration
