Position Summary:
LibreDigital is seeking a Team Lead for Java/User Interface development to direct and coordinate the activities of a large, distributed team building a Web portal used for accessing and controlling the digital assets in our data warehouse
Skills:
3+ years Java Enterprise development, including ESB, preferably on JBoss
5+ years Development of browser-based user interfaces,
Expert level knowledge of DHTML (JavaScript, Ajax, CSS) and solid experience with at least one Ajax/JavaScript framework
1+ years Database programming, Oracle preferred
Advanced understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS and related web technologies
Experience working with RESTful API services, XML and JSON
Experience:
5+ years product development experience, ideally in a Software-as-a-Service model
Experience with identity management systems and role-based access
Experience designing and implementing user interfaces, with a strong sense of what is required of a great user interface
Team Lead experience with overall responsibility for the technical direction of the UI
Other skills:
Excellent communication, prioritization and analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced start-up environment with minimal structure and process
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE or MIS; or equivalent experience
