Position Overview:
The OMM will be responsible for managing the company’s online marketing channels including SEM, PPC, SEO, Local Search and Social Media outlets. The OMM will work directly with the Director of Marketing to continually grow website visits and site conversions to achieve company goals. Candidates must have at least 2-3 years experience in SEM/SEO and a clear understanding of online marketing.

Responsibilities:
•    Develop, execute, optimize and provide detailed reporting for all online Marketing Channels including SEM (paid and organic), SEO, Local Search, and Social Media outlets.

Skills/Requirements:
•    Experience and a clear understanding of SEO strategies and techniques

We need an immediate revision in time for Comic-Con, with current information and title updates on each page. A more thorough revision will be required in the future, in addition to website maintenance.

We are also searching for somebody proficient in After Effects/Photoshop to help design animated graphics for our lower thirds (graphic cards located at the bottom of the screen which state an interviewee’s name and official title). Our web site provides a database for users to track their hugs on a Google Map as the hugs travel around the world. We hired some programmers to build the site, and now we are looking for someone to fix bugs, refine the user interface, develop new features and to maintain the site on an ongoing basis.

A key criterion for this job is that you must be available and responsive, able to implement minor amendments as soon as we get feedback from users and phone you. Central to our philosophy is the principle that our site must evolve based on feedback from our community of users – YOU will be central to making that happen.

The site was developed using the Symfony PHP framework, and experience with Symfony or a similar web application framework is essential to this role. Design skills would be a bonus but are not necessary.
