As an experienced software engineer you’ll be part of building software for a leading Software as a Service (SaaS) provider. As the ideal candidate, you’ve built enterprise software for an on-demand world and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your engineering skills set you apart and you expect the same of those on your Scrum team. You’ll work on all tiers of our application, applying your skills to everything from building compelling, usable UI components to coding a multi-threaded, high-performing middle tier capable of handling high data loads and supporting our customers’ demanding business environments.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement application functionality using modern best practices.
Review technical specifications and adapt those requirements into product features.
Design and implement highly scalable, usable applications using Microsoft .NET, nHibernate, ASP.NET,AJAX, jQuery, Javascript, and CSS.
Participate in and lead code-review sessions, identify and select tools and technologies, and mentor other engineers.
Required Skills/Experience:
5+ yrs in a key development role building web applications and services.
Knowledgeable in design patterns and architectural paradigms, refactoring, scalability, and service-oriented software elements.
Familiar with best practices for developing usable, portable web interfaces.
Passionate about exploring and experimenting with cutting edge application development technologies.
Passionate about quality and experienced with TDD, mock objects, and refactoring.
Able to work with a dynamic team in an Agile environment.
Experienced with real-world commercial/enterprise web application development.
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Very strong knowledge of .NET framework, ASP.NET 3.5, AJAX, jQuery, Javascript, and CSS.
Disciplined self-starter but able to be highly productive working in close collaboration within an Agile team
Pluses:
Prior delivery of SaaS/on-demand solutions with a multi-tenant architecture preferred.
ASP.NET MVC.
nHibernate.
Distributed infrastructure technologies (memcached, “NoSQL” storage, horizontal partitioning, etc.).
