The ideal candidate will participate in the design and implementation of the Support.com website and related components that support the rapid growth of our direct-to-consumer business. This is a critical position to help revitalize the website and migrate it toward a new level of interactivity and user experience.

Specific responsibilities:
Work closely with marketing team to create original web pages, web sites and HTML emails, utilizing standards-compliant X/HTML and CSS
Ensure development standards, user-centered design principles, best practices and site technical quality are met and maintained
Enhance site efficiency, translating business requirements into an intuitive user experience and increasing site conversion
Identify customer site behavior from qualitative and quantitative customer data
Rigorously analyze impact of new designs and web pages via Google Analytics
Help to ensure optimum website usability and simplicity
Perform timely website reviews to ensure freshness and accuracy of content and search engine optimization
Collaborate with Marketing team to identify emerging functionality needs and develop new web page designs
Ensure site is optimized for search engines on a continuous basis
Qualifications:
Experience with consumer-oriented web companies is a strong plus
Extensive development experience with X/HTML, CSS, JavaScript and cross-browser web development techniques
Development experience with Drupal and PHP is a strong plus
Experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, YUI or other similar libraries
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Knowledge of development trade-offs between speed, design, flexibility and the underlying page architectures
Experience in Adobe Photoshop and image optimization techniques
