The Senior Web Developer will fill a critical leadership role in driving the technology behind RockBand.com and other Harmonix web projects.
Primary tools: PHP, MySQL, Symfony, Doctrine
Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining web code supporting RockBand.com, Rock Band Network, and other Harmonix web sites
* Creating specifications and other supporting material for architecturally complex systems
* Working with Production team in accurately breaking down tasks and providing estimates for large, complex projects
Qualifications:
* 4+ years of PHP development experience (preferably on a LAMP Platform)
* Experience with the Symfony PHP framework
* Experience with ORM frameworks such as Doctrine or Propel
* Experience with WordPress or similar Content Management Systems
* Experience designing and implementing MySQL database schemas
* Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Scriptaculous or jQuery, including usage of AJAX techniques
* Experience working in a highly dynamic production studio environment, working with producers and maintaining schedules using project management software. Experience with Agile development processes a plus.
* A portfolio including the development of at least 2 high traffic web sites through the launch and maintenance phases.
