Position: PHP Developer
Would you like to get out of NYC for a couple of months? We’re preparing to launch a new website and need someone on location to help us get some programming wrapped up. We’ll put you up and facilitate your travel to Burlington. All we need is a couple months of hard work.
Our platform is built on LAMP
and Joomla. This is a full time, on-site, contract position that will
be paid weekly. There will be a possibility of a
salaried position based in New York City at the end of the two months.Responsibilities:
- Examine existing code base & apply fixes and changes as needed.
- Code testing, revision and maintenance.
- Server and database configuration.
Experience Required:
- 2 years minimum experience with PHP, MySQL and Apache.
- 2 years experience developing web applications.
- 2 years experience with SQL and database design.
- 2 years experience with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience with Subversion revision control system.
- Excellent English communication skills – written and oral.
- Smart, dependable, very organized, detail oriented, high integrity and high energy.
- Self starter and ability to navigate projects with limited supervision.
