PHP and Senior Level PHP Developers
Our extremely fast paced Downtown, San Diego office is hiring two professionals for the Web Development Department. We are looking for a PHP Developer and a Senior PHP Developer to work with our current team. La Touraine is an established web based business in the adult entertainment industry. Minimum skill requirements for both positions:
2+ years experience with PHP
OOP
Experience with the LAMP stack
Must be able to write code from scratch
Experience with Javascript, JSON and Ajax
Experience with Javascript framework such as JQuery or Prototype
Experience with source control and version control tools (preferably Subversion)
Thorough understanding of Social Networking and Web 2.0 technologies
Experience with MySQL
Experience with SEO / SEM
Very strong HTML / XHTML knowledge
Very strong CSS knowledge
Ability to work in a small team and build consensus with colleagues
Ability to deliver projects on time
Requirements for Senior Level PHP Developer:
4+ years experience with PHP
Knowledge of unix / linux system administration
Experience with MySQL administration / optimization
Experience with Memcached, Varnish or other caching technologies
Experience with Apache, Nginx or Lighttpd administration
Experience with Apache mod_rewrite
Strong SEO / SEM knowledge
Bash / Shell scripting
A real “problem solver” type
Not required, but preferred skills:
Experience with Smarty or Expression Engine
Experience developing web application for mobile platforms such as
Palm, iPhone and Android
Experience building high traffic, highly available, enterprise level web applications
Experience with SMS technologies
Experience working with APIs from 3rd parties such as Facebook and Twitter
Experience with streaming media technologies
Knowledge of REST / SOAP
