Role: System Administrator (Oracle)
Duration: Contract to Hire (3 Months)
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Salary: $75k-$90k
This role works with the Information Technology Operations teams to provide support for Oracle Unbreakable and Oracle RAC.
Principal responsibilities include:
Manage day to day Oracle OS Administration activities.
Reviews and ensures integrity of Oracle Unbreakable/RAC environments via standardized support tools.
Performs Oracle Unbreakable/RAC administration assignments essential to the production and development of Windows systems.
Assignments which are in direct support of software development and maintenance teams including database analysis, security support, design, software use, and performance monitoring and tuning.
Establish, support and maintain Windows test environments.
Design and implement Enterprise Oracle server environments and perform in accordance with Oracle administration guidelines, standards and procedures for administration implementation, testing, and migration.
Regularly interacts with senior or executive management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Additional Skills:
Minimum of 5 10 years Information Technology experience focusing on Red Hat, Linux, Oracle Unbreakable, Oracle RAC.
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant work experience.
Experience with design & implementation of Oracle Unbreakable servers & enterprise management tools.
Maintaining multiple servers with different versions on Oracle operating systems.
Performing Oracle Unbreakable and RAC administration tasks including installation,configuration, backup, and recovery.
Provide 24/7 Windows support.
Familiar with Project Management methodology and ITIL.
