POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Mobile Device Developer will design and develop applications for mobile devices on various operating systems including Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Symbian, iPhone and Blackberry. In addition this person will build enterprise applications to manage mobile devices, create drivers for integration to mobile devices and interfaces to provision, monitor, and manage software on devices. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations that require data integration from various sources such as mobile devices, access points, enterprise WLAN and Wi-Fi hotspot infrastructure

• Create innovative software solutions following object oriented best practices from design through implementation (including design, documentation, testing, using Visual Studio 2008 and Team Foundation Server)

• Work in a team environment to design, and build applications on a .NET (primarily C#) Server Platform.
• Improve business processes and support critical business strategies by contributing to the design, development, and implementation of business applications systems

• Mentor and manage small team of developers and best practices for the team

• Contribute to the development of the technical requirements that drive product development

• Self-start and team player with strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information
• Results-driven and goal oriented attitude

• Conscientious about producing the highest quality of work

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Must have extensive experience with either C#.Net or Windows Mobile

• Must also have experience with another mobile operating system

• Application development experience on mobile devices for enterprise applications.

• Extensive experience in XML, database modeling, and Visual Studio .NET
• Strong Object Oriented design and analysis skills.
• Proficient with using UML to model software designs.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle
