Our creative client is in immediate need of a solid ActionScript 3 / Flex developer.

You will be working with a team on projects for e-learning, site development and mobile applications.

To qualify, you must have at least 3 years of development experience in a creative environment. You must be proficient in ActionScript 3, Flex, Photoshop, Illustrator, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML.

Most of your work will be in Flash Builder 4 and the Creative Suite 5, but if you are only able to do Flex Builder 3 / CS 3, you will still be considered.

This is an ongoing project where you will be working offsite with some meetings in Kirkland. After September you may be required to work onsite. You can expect to work 35-40 hours/week. I got the Continue button to work, BUT if someone clicks the Continue button before the audio for that page is done, you hear double audio. If you keep clicking Continue, you hear all the audio at once. I want the Continue button to NOT appear until the audio for the page has finished playing. Or some other brilliant solution.

I need a fix for this that will NOT involve redoing the whole file, if possible.

Functionality

• Each unit promotes multiple shoots – the most recent shoot from multiple sites
• Crawl our RSS feeds for each site and parse for the latest shoot and its associated promotion elements (pictures, names, titles, dates, etc.)
• Also crawl our live show feed, and when a show is live, promote that over the latest shoots
• Each item sends the user back to one of our sites – the URL is always custom to provide affiliate tracking info, which will be passed as a parameter to the embed

Design and interactivity

The ad units will show the multiple recent shoots and live show promotions using a carousel metaphor with light interactivity:
• Click to call a url
• Slow click release or click drag release to “fling” the carousel in a new direction with velocity sensitivity
• Know how to gently load and smoothly animate a lot of info including jpgs
• Understand how to build these so that they can be tweaked for different sizes
