Java/J2EE Identity Management Software Developer
My client is seeking a talented and passionate principal software engineer who will be responsible for a variety of integrations of their products with 3rd party identity management / provisioning products such as IBM’s Tivoli Identity Manager, Sun Identity Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, CA Identity Manager as well as other service desk products like BMC’s Remedy, HP Service Manager (formally Peregrine), and CA Service Desk. This individual will be responsible for the design of abstract integration layers as well as implementations of strategic integrations with 3rd party products.
Required Skills
· Strong experience in integrating enterprise products
· Strong, working experience with XML technologies and web services a must.
· Experience with SPML, Tivoli security API, or other product specific integration methods a strong plus
· Comfortable installing, configuring and interacting with new enterprise software to determine integration potentials and approaches
· Strong Java / J2EE development skills a must
· Strong working experience in building scalable, enterprise applications on top of JBoss, Weblogic, and/or Websphere a must.
· Demonstrable skills including use case definition, resolution, functional specification and detailed design specification
· Ability to work in an agile development team including the ability to create product backlogs, create, manage, and update burn-down charts and drive scrum meetings a strong plus
· Strong test-driven development approach
· Can communicate effectively with internal and external customers to understand integration requirements and objectives and translate those into integration approaches.
· Participate in the entire product life cycle: requirements, implementation, testing, release and maintenance.
· Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
· Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
· Strong experience with at least one of any of the following products:
Sun Identity Manager, IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, CA Identity Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, BMC’s Remedy, HP Service Manager (formally Peregrine), CA Service Desk.
· 7+ years of software design and implementation experience.
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Responsibilities
· Design, implementation, and maintenance of integration layers and APIs within the products to allow for integration with 3rd party products like Identity Management, service desk, and other 3rd party applications/infrastructures.
· Design, implementation, and maintenance of strategic product integrations
· Manage development tasks and expectations through the use of agile methodologies including the ability to define and manage sprints, manage burn-down charts, and drive scrum meetings.
· Enabling partner driven development of 3rd party product integrations through integration APIs, best practices, and enablement.
· Ownership of existing product integration implementations
· Develop prototypes or proofs of concepts of product integrations for market validation and potential
