IT SUPPORT, REPAIR AND FACILITY MANAGER (HANDY MAN);
A well-established independent wholesale distributor of industry-leading IT and networking products is seeking a highly-motivated, innovative, practical and resourceful, technician with a proven history of “tinkering” and solving electrical, mechanical and technical problem solving and the ability to develop and maintain a warranty and repair center, plus hands on management of our facility infrastructure.
Overview of Responsibilities
The Facility Manager’s primary objectives are to:
Develop and maintain a warranty repair center, utilizing the existing structure and resources and modernizing it to fit the company’s future requirements.
Maintain the Company’s office facilities, IT facilities, Environmental Systems, general maintenance.
General Office Administration Support and technical assistance as required.
Qualifications/Prerequisites
Proven ability and history practical problem solving – “tinkering” and solving electrical, mechanical and technical problems/projects.
Experience with IT, Computer hardware and telephone equipment.
Resourceful hands-on problem solver
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, IM, e-mail, and PDA (Blackberry)
Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task
Innovative thinking with aggressive desire to succeed
Reliable, responsible and Team Player, willing to do what is necessary to help the company
Must have a driver’s license, car and good driving record.
COMPENSATON:
Base salary: $35,000 to $45,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.
Commissions based on performance (tied to repair/warranty production)
Company Healthcare after 90 days from employment probation date
Company 401k after 90 days from employment probation date
Company profit sharing after 90 days from employment probation date
