We are a Silicon Valley startup looking for a software architect to join us in contributing time for equity in a pre-funded venture. The business is focused on web commerce and the monetization of social networks. Someone experienced with PayPal development would be of great interest to us.
We’re seeking a strong software architect and applications developer well-versed in Java applications design and development as well as Google toolkit. Experience with consumer-facing internet applications, social networks, and payment systems on the web a plus.
We have a functional design and specifications defined, and provisional patent filed for. You would take a leading role in coding a beta release for a monetizable application. Compensation at this stage is in the form of equity as we want to implement our beta before we raise funds. Currently the team consists of three Stanford grads and two MIT grads.
