We are currently seeking a Director of Sales with the experience to manage our inside and outside sales efforts and staff. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of motivating sales professionals to increase sales and developing effective incentive programs and compensation and bonus plans. This position will report directly to the CEO and will play a key role in executing the overall strategy of the organization. If you have the experience and the fire, we’d like to talk to you.
The Director of Sales is responsible for:
Achieving our overall sales and profitability goals
Providing leadership, training, direction and management of our sales team
Creating and administering effective compensation and bonus plans to incent the sales team
Managing sales department expenses
This position will include defining client needs through product knowledge and positioning, and involves working with our Sales Engineers in the architecting of new solutions and Project Managers in solution delivery. Responsibilities include identifying, forecasting and attaining sales objectives by providing technology based solutions.
Overall internal and external relationship management and the ability to coordinate required resources to respond to complex IT requirements and sales objectives is a necessity. Other requirements include facilitating ongoing sales training and attaining and maintaining manufacturer certifications for the sales team, developing and maintaining relationships with client and vendor contacts, and preparing and presenting detailed quotes and proposals as needed.
Minimum Skills Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business
Minimum ten years direct selling experience
Experience in both face to face and telephone sales models
Experience in IT service related sales and sales management
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software technologies and programs
Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with staff, clients and vendors
Experience with HP, Cisco and Citrix offerings a plus
Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance
Background check and drug screen required
