Title: Back End Java Developer
Reports to: VP, Technology
Location: New York, NY
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the engineering lead to design, develop, test, and deploy a new enterprise application. Participate in requirements gathering sessions, design reviews, and code reviews. Communicate status to project stakeholders. Ensure project timelines are met with high quality deliverables. Leverage Java, J2EE, and other technologies to build and maintain highly scalable, highly available, modular code. Understand and enjoy the unique pressures and rewards of working at a startup.

QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA with software engineering experience 2+ years professional J2EE/server-side java experience Strong knowledge of SQL Experience with Spring and/or Struts 2 Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices A self motivated, team player with excellent communication skills Well rounded problem solving skills
